Kickoff this Super Bowl Sunday with an Ahi Poke Bowl recipe from former Minnesota Viking player, Esera Tuaolo that will tackle those game day cravings, and cheer on with with Minnesota's own Berzerker's Skol cocktail, from Trish Gavin at Tullibee at the Hewing Hotel.
Aloha everyone, Vikings Chef Tuaolo here sending you all some pre-prepping Instruction so you are ready to have some fun Super Bowl Sunday.
AHI POKE BOWL
1. 6 to 8 ounces of sushi grade Ahi Tuna
2. 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
3. 3 tablespoons sesame oil
4. Sesame seeds
5. Two sleeves Chopped of Scallion
6. Chopped of half of white onion
7. 1 semi ripe Avocado (Optional)
8. 1 semi ripe mango (Optional)
9. Medium grain white rice.
(White Rice - please use short grain rice not long grains rice. ) - Here is link to show you how to cook rice without a rice cooker. If you have a rice cooler I'm assuming that you are a pro at making rice. Again, please use short grain white rice. How to make short grain rice:
Berzerker's Skol

Ingredients 1.5 oz Gamle Ode Celebration Aquavit .5 oz honey syrup .5 oz Kronan Swedish Punsch .5 oz lemon juice .25 oz grapefruit juice 1 eyedropper Bittercube Bolivar Bitters
Instructions Combine in order of ingredients listed. Stir and garnish with rosemary.
